Do you feel the slight difference in those statements?

The first three hold intention. Power. Strength. Clarity.

The person saying them is someone who knows what they want.

And every time that person says those words, their body hears those words.

Your heart hears those words.

"I'm going to have a VBAC."

What would it feel like to say that phrase every day?

To see yourself comfortably managing those contractions?

Moving and swaying as your body needs?

Or maybe, choosing an epidural because that is what you need at the time?

To allow yourself to envision what that moment of birth would feel like?

To pull your slippery baby up and onto your chest?

To look into their eyes for the very first time?

To smell their sweet little head?

To feel the warmth of their body against yours?

"I'm going to have a VBAC."

What does this statement tell your body? Your heart?

How does it frame the time between now to when you push your baby into the world?

What would it feel like to calmly and confidently claim this future for you?

To set this intention and spend the time now to that last contraction bathed in the peace and certainty of this truth?
