Please. Don't take their word for it.

Hi Reader,

This is a love letter to the parents in my audience...

How many of you have heard something like: "You can't have a VBAC because....."

Can I just give you one piece of advice?

Please. Do not take their word for it.

So many women hear "valid reasons” why they “must” have a cesarean… and most of them are pure lies.

This is why when a reader was told that she had "damaged tissues" from her two prior cesareans, I advised her to get a copy of her medical records and any scans that were done, and get a second, or third, opinion.

Odds are, there is nothing wrong.

Odds are, that physician recommends a repeat cesarean for "valid medical reasons" to everyone.

Don't be conned.

When you don't know the facts, it is so easy for a physician to convince you why you need a repeat cesarean.

The number of people who have said to me, "Jen, I wish I knew you when...." is long and unnecessary.

It doesn't have to be that way.

You aren't in this alone and you don't have to try to compile all this information yourself.

This is what I do.

Let me help you and get ready to go from stressed to calm and ready to claim your birth, whatever that looks like for you!

The very first step is to learn the facts. This is the only way you can tell if your provider is honest with you or not and it's the best way to avoid an unnecessary repeat cesarean.

My online course, "The Truth About VBAC™ for Families" gives you all the information you need to navigate your options.

Come learn about VBAC, repeat cesarean, uterine rupture, home birth, VBAC bans, and so. much. more.

Over the last 15 years I've had physicians, yes physicians, say that my programs are the best they have seen about VBAC.

That's because I'm not about pie in the sky dreams and toxic positivity.

I'm also not about fear mongering and paternalism.

It's about all the studies, all the data, as well as the various non-medical factors (like that golf game) that result in parents having repeat cesareans that they don't want or need increasing their risks in future pregnancies.

It's this information that will single handedly increase your odds of having a VBAC.

In addition to the course, you gain instant community through our private Facebook group as well as deeper access to me to ask questions and gain more clarity.

If you want to team up with me and learn the facts, now is your time!

Enroll today and let's do this together.

Don't wait until you are 36 weeks... do it now.

In solidarity,

Jen Kamel

Hello Reader, Did you see this article from University of Massachusetts Amherst discussing how planned VBAC, aka labor after cesarean or LAC, is only offered in 16% of US counties? Just look at these maps for 2016 and 2021... BLUE is where there there is an OB hospital that offers LAC GREY is where there are OB hospitals, but they don't offer LAC WHITE is where there are no OB hospitals... maternal deserts Even when researchers looked at just counties that had OB hospitals, still, only 30% of...

Ok Reader, A few things... I was on the radio! 🎙️ this week's podcast interview questions? I was on the radio! If you tried to tune into my interview on Whole Mother Radio per the dates I gave you a couple weeks ago, sorry about that. The publishing calendar changed and it aired this past week. But, you can still listen to the whole thing here! The host Pat Jones and I talk about top VBAC myths, informed consent & responsibility, the power we all have, maintaining the fire for change, and so...

Hi Reader, I have so many parents who come to me because they are trying to have a VBAC. I want to offer you something. If you want a VBAC, try saying, "I'm planning a VBAC" or "I will labor after a cesarean" or even "I'm going to have a VBAC" rather than "I'm going to try." Do you feel the slight difference in those statements? The first three hold intention. Power. Strength. Clarity. The person saying them is someone who knows what they want. And every time that person says those words,...
